Qualification
MBA, Bachelor’s degree holder in Business, Marketing, and Experienced Sales staff with minimum of 5 years’ experience in the middle east, preferred experience from Oman.
Required Skill Set
Sales, Business Development, Construction Chemicals sales experience, Building Material sales experience, Knowledge of Civil construction industry. Arabic speaking, Market research, Market analysis, Negotiator.
Required Industry Experience
Experienced and Good Knowledge in Sales of Construction Chemicals and Building construction products.
Job Description / Responsibilities
- Quick learner and gaining the product knowledge in short period of time.
- Hunt for accounts, new customers and act as the primary contact and negotiator for assigned key accounts and key Al Amana product segments.
- Develop account and project penetration strategies and action plans based on analyzing and prioritizing opportunities, determining the required resources, and understanding the decision making and internal influencing dynamics.
- Responsible for securing specifications for targeted projects and /or company standards, ensuring that Al Amana’s range of products is the desired solution for key applications of customer.
- Negotiate, coordinate, and implement pricing agreements aimed at increasing share of wallet and improving overall account profitability.
- Develop and maintain appropriate contacts at all relevant levels to understand and secure the fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Timely and precise report preparation and maintaining personal database of business activities and discuss with team leader
- Represent Al Amana all the time in line with company policies.
- Achieve set target sales for the month.
- Improving the sales through end users and applicators.
- Sales of complimentary products which improves the sales of Al Amana range of products.
- Invite key decision makers from customers for marketing events.
- Giving technical presentations at client offices.
Desired profile of the candidate
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in SALES with construction chemicals Products. Also, able to handle the Allied and building construction products. Experienced in handling the key accounts, sales, field engineering, sales management, business development, or equivalent required.
- Proven track record of successful sales achievements related to project account development and implementation including specifications and standard creation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Strong conceptual thinking skills and the ability to utilize creative and innovative approaches in problem-solving Demonstrated entrepreneurial thinking skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High degree of organizational awareness and ability to navigate organizational matrix to leverage resources.
- High level of motivation and customer focus, continuous improvement mentality required in a fast-paced result-oriented environment.
- Ability to lead and inspire others.
