Responsibilities- Set finance strategy in line with corporate objectives  Advises  Board of Directors on fiscal control, profitability and returns  Prepares, presents and interprets financial reports to Executive Committee, the Board and other regulatory bodies  Ensure financial controls and discipline are in place  Ensure the overall integrity and accuracy of the financial transactional system as a basis for the preparation of financial and management reporting and accurately reflects the countries’ financial position  Ensure adherence and compliance to tax laws, regulatory requirements and financial / accounting policies and procedures. This includes initiating the redesign of the chart of accounts and accounting transaction framework and implementation of reporting systems to provide and communicate quality financial information.  Managing the taxation affairs of the country  To support and develop the finance teams in creating a finance partnership with business  Liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, central bank, revenue authority, Finance and Group Finance  Be a member of and contribute to a number of subsidiary company boards and, the Executive Committee.
